Seattle, WA

63,000 SF
Anticipated LEED Gold
Completion: 2020
Client: Amazon.com/Mary’s Place

For the first time-ever, Mary’s Place will have a permanent shelter in the heart of downtown Seattle. Mary’s Place Family Center in The Regrade, will open in early 2020 within the Graphite designed Amazon’s Seattle headquarters of Block 21. The new shelter will increase the organization’s shelter capacity in King County by 50 percent and will help shelter more than 400 additional families each year in the city of Seattle.

Graphite led Mary’s Place through their first ever programming process and visioning session, then leveraged those findings throughout the design and documentation phases, the result being a unique, first-of-its-kind shelter, tailor-made for Mary’s Place and their programs that transform the lives of families experiencing homelessness.
