majority of Starbucks kiosks are located within larger retail offers, but Graphite was enlisted to adapt this one to function within a mixed-use setting. With adjoining common spaces, the goal was to make an updated kiosk arrangement that would better accommodate a much larger volume of customers, while better integrating with the overall space. Additional furniture added with varied seating heights to better accommodate patrons with different needs, encouraging them to linger, slow down, and enjoy the space.
It's all about the details.
The lighting was enhanced to highlight the 'grab-n-go' and drinkware products, while the make-line has illumination details to create an elevated 'jewel-box' effect. The hand-off area takes advantage of a broad return with a large surface area right next to the barista.
Updated cue-line was enhanced to increase velocity and throughput during peak dayparts with high traffic volumes, critical to the success of a Starbucks experience.
