T he Union combines a 425,000 square foot, 17-story class A office tower with The Christopher, a 20-story, 300-unit high-rise apartment building. At the ground level the 4-acre block is anchored by 75,000 square feet of retail - including a 50,000 square foot full-serve urban grocery - and the best of both sit-down and fast-casual restaurants. Uniquely situated at the confluence of five city streets, The Union is a welcome addition to the urban landscape that already includes nearby Klyde Warren Park, American Airlines Center, the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, The Ritz-Carlton and a growing set of residences, restaurants, retail attractions and more. The signature element marking this vital urban destination is the central plaza featuring open space with large trees in a park-like setting - all designed to bring 24/7 energy and excitement to this emerging part of the city.

Building for the Future

Graphite worked closely with RED Development to develop a robust master-plan for the Union that built upon RED’s keen understanding of complex mixed-use developments and Graphite’s expertise in bringing such ambitions plans to reality. Set into the backdrop of a full compliment of urban lifestyle amenities, the Union’s 17-story office tower is the ideal setting for savvy technology and financial tenants.

Built to top-of-market standards, the office tower at The Union is equally suited to multi and full-floor tenants, and provides on-premise amenities unrivaled in the market. The tower’s timeless design has elegantly taken its place in the Dallas skyline, marking both a gateway to downtown and destination in its own right.

As design architect, Graphite collaborated with HKS Dallas as Architect-of-Record.
